FAQs

Do you shoot weddings or couples?

I do not shoot weddings. This is a HUGE undertaking, and you need to be absolutely comfortable in the photographer you choose for this occasion. There won’t be a do-over, so it’s important to get the right photographer with the proper expertise and experience. For a quick reference, do as my wife did and check out TheKnot.com. That’s a great resource for all brides-to-be!

What are your rates to shoot a commercial property?

Here’s the good part: I WORK FOR FREE! NO CHARGE AT ALL! Well, obviously that isn’t true, but I bet I made you smile for a second. If you can go to my Contact page and submit some information, I can give you a good idea on what it will cost to shoot your property. Please be as specific as you can. I may also need to see the property in person to give a proper quote.

Are you a licensed drone pilot, and do you use one for your commercial shoots?

Yes, I am an FAA PT 107 certified drone pilot. Why’s that important? Well, to be in compliance with Federal law, one must hold a Part 107 license in order to fly a drone in the US for commercial purposes. I only use the drone when requested by the customer, or if it’s the only tool in the box that will work. The area must be inspected to make sure a drone flight is actually legal and to make sure it’s physically and logistically possible.

How soon can you get my photos back to me?

After the pictures are taken, then comes the fun part: The edits. In some cases, the editing can take more time than the actual shoot. I do not promise photos in a 24-hour period. In many cases, it may not be possible. It can take slightly longer depending on the shoot. There are many post-processing techniques that have to be applied to edit photos so they have that pleasing and polished look. But I will always do my absolute best to have your photos back to you as soon as possible. We can discuss this matter upon booking.

I saw one of your photos on your site, but I didn’t see it in the Store. Are all of your pictures for sale or license?

Almost all of the photos are for sale or license. Some photos, due to licensing agreements, are not for sale…just yet. Please send me a message via Contact on any photos that you are interested in purchasing or licensing, and I will let you know if it’s one we can license or sell as a print. Also, if there is a particular photo of Atlanta that you may want but don’t see, please let me know. Not all of my catalogue can fit on this site, and I have Atlanta photos for days!

Do you only shoot properties in Atlanta, or do you travel?

Absolutely, I travel! Please fill out the information on my Contact page, and let me know what you have in mind. The only requirement I have is that there MUST be a Dunkin Donuts nearby. I CANNOT work without coffee! Seriously, yes, I do travel, and in some cases, my services may be comparable in cost to what you may find locally. Also, this fits well for some locales that may not have a local photographer who can meet your needs.

Can I get one of your prints on canvas or metal?

Yes, that’s possible. Please send me a message and include the size and desired material of the print, and I will get a quote to you as soon as possible.

Hey, I like your style. Where can I send you a check for a million dollars?

Ok, this one isn’t FREQUENTLY asked, but JUST IN CASE it gets asked ONCE, I want to be prepared.

What other photography do you shoot?

Like most other photographers, I’ve dabbled in just about all areas of photography. I guess the easiest way to answer this question is to tell you the two types of photography I do not shoot: Weddings and wildlife. I shoot live action sports, portraits, events other than weddings, products, food, etc. I can submit samples of that kind of work if needed.
